Hiya all! I'm gonna keep it short. July was a very busy month, and tomorrow I'll be off to another convention: Anthro Weekend Utah! I'm sorry I only managed to update Slightly Damned once this month. I did manage to get more pages done, but I decided I should wait until after I'm back from the convention to post more.

I don't like that my updates have been somewhat inconsistent recently, so I tried a different work flow. I think I succeeded, but I'll have to try it out a few more times to know if it's sustainable. July was also unusually busy because of all the correspondence I've had to do and... well, I'll spare you the details. Just know that there's a lot to being an artist than just drawing pictures!

Thanks for being patient! More pages are on the way, I promise!

Hiya folks. The comic is going to skip another couple of Saturdays again. I had fully intended to draw a couple more pages to keep things updating smoothly, but I ran outta steam.

Right now I'm busy preparing for Anthrocon: packing, making signs, inventory, etc. I'll be at tables H20 & H21!

I'm also navigating Slightly Damned's future in the midst of cutting ties with Hiveworks. As a sign of movement on that: currently, there are no more ads on sdamned.com. I think I'd like to keep it that way; aside, perhaps, from advertising my own online ships, or fellow webcomics through ComicAd or something.

Anyhow, I'm doing a bunch of work that doesn't involve drawing.

This is a good point for there to be a lull in updates because the next part is going to be juicy stuff. So I wanna make sure I'm not arbitrarily rushing pages when trying to convey an important scene. I'd rather tackle it when I've got the energy.

The comic will have new pages in July!
