Kieri: Every Angel has a rank. Angels can increase their rank by earning pendants.
Each pendant represents a gift of light that Mother Gaia gave to Medius: the sun, the stars, and the old moon.

They say Syndel ate the old moon because he disliked Gaia's gift lighting up HIS nighttime.
Now both gods each have an eye that watches over Medius.

Even though our pendants are the same, Angels are divided into two classes:

Caretakes are non-violent Angels who do all sorts of jobs. They take care of everyone in Heaven, including Medians.

Warrior Angels are the only ones who are allowed to carry weapons.
Our only job is to slay Demons.
That makes us more important than everyone else in Heaven.

If a warrior and a caretaker have the same pendants, the warrior, will always outrank them.

But having a weapon is usually enough for any warrior to get their way.

Slightly Damned is on Summer Vacation until September!

With page 1191 of Slightly Damned, Book Six has concluded!

I am taking a break to work on things besides Slightly Damned pages for a few months. I am eager to continue the story, but other things need my attention. I love making Slightly Damned pages, but they are so labor intensive and time consuming! I will still be working on Slightly Damned related things, just not "main story" pages. And I really need to start planning for the next Kickstarter. Wish me luck!

In the meantime, the patron suggestion box is back in the summer! I want to doodle quick, easy things based on patron suggestions while I'm not working on pages. For more information, check out the relevant posts:

They will be selling stickers, t-shirts, enamel pins, and Slightly Damned books.

As of right now I'm not planning on applying to or attending any other shows in 2026 besides these. I want to spend less time worrying about travel and more time working at home for a while... as long as I can afford it.
