J: I sometimes have a problem controlling my fire magic. It was really bad when I was a kid.

J: I said stuff like, "I hate fire magic! All it does is hurt people! I wish I was born different!"

J: None of us can change how we were born, but we can still do good with what we've got. Fire is a destructive power, but it can also be a comfort.

J: Take our campfires, for example. They light up the darkness so we can see.

J: We use them to cook.

J: And they keep us warm.

J: I admit I haven't known y'all for very long, but it seems to be you've already made Kieri's life a lot easier. I don't think anyone would push themselves as hard as she does if they didn't feel they had something worth fighting for.

Slightly Damned is on Summer Vacation until September!

With page 1191 of Slightly Damned, Book Six has concluded!

I am taking a break to work on things besides Slightly Damned pages for a few months. I am eager to continue the story, but other things need my attention. I love making Slightly Damned pages, but they are so labor intensive and time consuming! I will still be working on Slightly Damned related things, just not "main story" pages. And I really need to start planning for the next Kickstarter. Wish me luck!

In the meantime, the patron suggestion box is back in the summer! I want to doodle quick, easy things based on patron suggestions while I'm not working on pages. For more information, check out the relevant posts:

Spring 2026: Furnal Equinox: Toronto Canada, March 20 -22 Furry Weekend Atlanta: Atlanta, Georgia, May 7 - 10 Summer 2026: Anthrocon: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, July 2 -5 On the left of the image is Chu's fursona, a spotted hyena, and on the right is a sampling of their merchandise. They will be selling stickers, t-shirts, enamel pins, and Slightly Damned books.

Here are my upcoming cons for 2026!

As of right now I'm not planning on applying to or attending any other shows in 2026 besides these. I want to spend less time worrying about travel and more time working at home for a while... as long as I can afford it.
