Fairies
Not much is known about this mysterious race from the Southern Woods of Fragaria. In fact, most Medians are not even aware that they are real. Of the people that do know of their existence, some of them sell captive Fairies on the black market. However, legends say that the Fairies are ruled by a powerful and cruel Fairy Queen who seeks revenge on all those who cause harm to her people.
Most Fairies live in secrecy in the Southern Woods, and thus, do not speak Lingo (the common language spoken in Medius). Instead they speak a special language that only a few non-Fairies are privileged to know. However, there are some adventurous Fairies who choose to live outside the woods among other Medians, even in cities like St. Curtis.
Presumably for camouflage, Fairies resemble the winged insects local to their birthplace. Yes, that means something like this can happen:
